Project Description

Objectively, PMMMSF’s goal is to assist as many students as measurably possible, increasing high school students’ future one at a time. Thus far the recipients of our scholarship have excelled beyond college and/or technical school training. In fact, several have gone on to earn their graduate and doctorate degrees. PMMMSF has followed these students’ progression since being awarded, encouraging their efforts and accomplishments. Our foundation creates an open door and a listening ear to HEAR students’ concerns. We give the phrase ‘it takes a village’ a renewed meaning; WE ARE THE VILLAGE.

Throughout the year, PMMMSF also visits schools within Broward County Florida to speak to students about life goals, college perspectives, as well as distractions like depression. Simple conversations with students in an open forum or discretely open the door of communication as well as a chance at shifting, if not changing (for the better) the perspective of an underprivileged youth. Although youths are our first priority, standing in the need for the community is also near and dear to our hearts. We have been able to grant the needs of other organizations like senior citizens daycare facilities in need of a television. PMMMSF prides itself on being a reliable aid to our youth as well as in the community.
